Automated Guided Vehicle
Automatic guided vehicles (AGV) systems can be explained as systems that perform fully automatic transport tasks that detect the location by tracking it with a laser system or a new generation gyroscope system, guided by central control units, without the need for any operator. It can work on AGV roads without the need to lay any rails or cables. As a result, adding new routes or replacing existing routes can be done at zero cost. Because of this structure, AGV roads can be used with pedestrians and other carriers due to this structure. For this reason, the existing space for other material handling systems is minimized.
Electric Monorail Transport System EMS (Electrified Monorail System)
Electric Monorail conveyors systems consist of rails with cables carrying electrical and data connections and vehicles moving on these rails with their own motion systems and controllers.
EMS vehicles and systems can be transported at much higher speeds than chain conveyors. It is ideal for remote transport and lifting. It is very flexible as each unit has its own engine and control unit.
Rail Guided Vehicles RGV
Rail guided vehicles are vehicles that move on rails with their own engines and processors that contain cables and carry electricity and information. These systems move on the rail and require ground-mounted fixed rails. Unlike overhead conveyors, it does not require any carrier construction. It is much faster than chain conveyors and AGVs. Operated with electricity belt conveyor type devices can also be applied on the system.
