Image processing is a type of signal processing used to obtain an advanced image or to extract some useful information from the image and perform operations on it. In the system, the input is an image, and the output can be an image, feature, or characteristic item obtained from the image. Today, image processing is among the rapidly growing technologies. These two methods are analog image processing and digital image processing. Analog image processing can be used for hard copies such as printouts and photographs. Image analysts use various principles of explanation when using these visual techniques. Digital image processing techniques help to modify digital images using computers. The three general stages that all kinds of data must go through when using digital techniques are preprocessing, development and imaging, information extraction.
